1. Introduction
The Campus aims to be a meeting for all students engaged in courses of active citizenship, peace education and intercultural dialogue. It’s an experience of formation and education for a global citizenship as a junction of interdisciplinary training plan.
The context in which it operates is the International Centre in Loppiano: the little town of the Focolare Movement located in Incisa Valdarno (FI), where young people and families from the whole world live: a true intercultural school.
In Loppiano, the first industrial park of Italian companies participating in the Economy of Communion project was established. It’s an economic experience that involves 700 companies in the world and offers to share its profits through development projects in poor countries.
We offer to participants a constructive, engaging and active approach, which foresees plenary activities, workshops in small groups, meaningful moments, testimonies, visits and educational tours. Young people who participate in the campus will have the possibility to test concretely what they have learned in class during the year, making an intercultural experience and getting to know a concrete experience of economic solidarity that aims to promote a “culture of giving” rather than a “culture of having.”

1. Premessa
