Domingos Dirceu Franco is a Brazilian economist and focolarino who has lived in Aleppo since 2019. We talked with him about the complicated situation that Syria is experiencing, a country where AMU is present with two programs: Seeds of Hope (emergency projects in the health field, education and professional training for women) and RestarT (income-generating activities), essential – according to Domingos – to “restore dignity to those who lost everything during the war”.
