The many experiences we received at the end of the work not only expressed gratitude but also fear, for the danger that had been averted and the strength of hope for the future.
Thanks to everyone who helped us fix our house. We are now safe, no more flooding or leaking roofs. No more rain entering our house. We are all well now thanks to those who support the mission. This will help the new girls in the programme to live well here. – Joan
Thank you for sending us financial support. We experienced the typhoon in December 2019 and it was not easy. We couldn’t sleep, windows were broken and roofs were blown off by the wind. Now our suffering is over, we no longer sleep on the floor, the roof has been fixed and the house is beautiful. We can welcome new boys who will come to be rehabilitated here. – Kervin
After the typhoon hit we started to worry about our safety. Every time it rained, water would come in through the damaged roofs and ceilings. Now that everything has been fixed we feel safer, also for our children. Thank you for finding it in your hearts to help us rebuild our home. May God bless you always. – Kathleen
I was really worried about the houses because of what we experienced, I was afraid that the roof would fly off again with the wind. Now it’s much better and stronger, and I’m not worried anymore. There will be a lot of kids who will benefit from living in this house and changing their lives. – Marc Louis
