Sierra Leone, school construction begins

The project A school for all begins its activities with the involvement of the community.

Before the roads become dangerous or impassable, due to the arrival of the rainy season in Sierra Leone, the work for the expansion of the Serekolia secondary school, planned with the AMU project A school for all, has started with the procurement of the necessary materials. The community has also mobilized and started to load sand to the site of the work, as part of their contribution to the school. In the meantime, another piece of good news has arrived: the government has also approved a secondary school section. This will allow students who finish the three years of secondary school in Serekolia to continue their higher education (another 3 years) without leaving the Chiefdom. The Catholic parish has already started and almost completed the construction of a building with three classrooms.
