Coronavirus is a serious threat to everyone, even more so to people and communities who were already in situations of hardship, vulnerability and danger. The guys from the Living Peace International Project , faced with what is happening in Nepal due to the Covid19 Pandemic, did not sit idly by and created a new experience of reciprocity for the many people who live in conditions of great difficulty every day. The guys from Kathmandu first tried to understand who and how many people needed immediate help: the elderly, children in family homes and orphanages, disabled people in assistance centers. Then, involving all available people, with the support of the authorities, they began to collect basic necessities to bring to the identified people. Among young people, they promoted activities to teach correct personal hygiene techniques and avoid contagion from Coronavirus, such as washing your hands correctly and often. Living Peace’s commitment to building peace and restoring people’s confidence, even with the big and small gestures of the kids, is confirmed, even in this moment of health emergency, as an important response to help those in difficulty. AMU and Living Peace continue to be alongside the communities that today have the greatest need for goods and care.
