In this time of emergency we have chosen to remain close to the participants and operators of our projects, who are working every day to respond to the Covid19 emergency.
Today, the paths of strengthening local communities to support their development are accompanied by emergency interventions to allow survival during the pandemic. In many situations we must respond to the lack of basic necessities , as in Ecuador, or the supply of medical supplies against Covid19 or medicines to continue treatments against cancer or other diseases, as in Syria. In other situations we are supporting workers and small businesses to survive and to transform, where possible, their activities, such as accompanying Argentine agricultural companies towards online sales.
Poverty is on the rise today and will increase even more in the future due to the isolation needed to fight Covid19. There is much to be done and everyone’s support will become even more important.
