The RAISE project (Alternative Response for Social Integration and Entrepreneurship) is adaptable to the current events connected to Covid-19 and continues to offer assistance to the families involved in the RAISE project as we wait for the reopening and for further steps of the project itself. The goal is strengthening the resilience of the families during the coronavirus emergency.
We took immediate action to ensure uninterrupted assistance to the families involved in the RAISE project during the Covid-19 emergency.
Our activities comprise:
- Community social services, including monitoring selected families that AMU Portugal wants to include in long-term social support.
- Emergency support for all the families identified by local institutions and networks that require immediate and concrete help, which may include collection and distribution of essential goods.
- Ongoing support for those who have requested funding for a new business activity to foundations, private institutions, and the Government.
