From March to today, the Emergency Coordination of the Focolare Movement-AMU-AFN and Caritas Spes Ukraine – thanks to the fundraising campaign started since the first days of the emergency – have provided internally displaced persons with shelter, food aid and first aid, as well as psychological support. At the same time, with another local partner – the Diocese of KAMIANETS-PODILSKYJ – the Emergency Coordination of the Focolare Movement-AMU-AFN has begun the renovation of a center to be used for day care for children, educational and psychological support for children and mothers. Now instead it is launching a health care and psychological support intervention in the Kyiv region, aimed at residents and displaced persons from neighboring regions. This mainly involves providing medical visits, diagnostic tests, specialist medical consultations, training in psycho-physical prevention, in three fixed clinics and in a mobile clinic that will travel around the region. The first aid assistance started in the initial phase of the intervention will continue anyway.
