Role:
AMU Onlus is looking for a Regional Representative in Campania (Caserta) as part of “Fare Sistema Oltre l’Accoglienza”, a national program of social and work inclusion aimed at Italians and foreigners in vulnerable conditions (www.faresistemaoltrelinterno.it)
Job description
The resource will have to:
- select the recipients to include in the Program;
- provide support to the local team of experts in the development and definition phase of the beneficiaries’ Individual Autonomy Paths;
- to guarantee orientation to recipients through accompaniment in individual socio-economic integration paths in the many aspects of daily life;
- activate and consolidate a territorial network of actors (companies, families, volunteers, operators, associations, institutions) to be involved in the processes of social and work inclusion of the recipients of the Program;
- plan and coordinate the implementation of activities for the social inclusion of beneficiaries and the activation of territorial networks;
- produce material on the experiences underway in the Region, useful for external communication (videos, interviews, articles, photos, etc.);
- produce periodic activity reports to be sent to the AMU.
Mandatory requirements:
- Degree in subjects related to the area of intervention of the Program (cultural mediation, sociology, international cooperation, political science, etc.);
- previous experience working with migrants;
- relational and empathic skills necessary to get in touch with the recipients of the Program, becoming an authoritative point of reference for them, as well as their tutor in the path to achieving individual autonomy goals;
- experience in managing/training volunteer groups
- excellent organizational skills, synthesis, teamwork, stress management;
- ability to interface with different actors: businesses, families, associations, operators, etc;
- organizational flexibility and ability to self-organize work;
- knowledge of English.
Desirable Requirements:
- knowledge of the bureaucratic process required for asylum seekers to legalize their status according to current regulations;
- specialization and refresher courses in subjects relating to migratory phenomena, reception, and the protection of asylum seekers and refugees;
- project writing and budget preparation skills;
- knowledge of French and Arabic.
