The Emergency Coordination of the Focolare Movement, with AMU and AFN, has immediately started a fundraiser and is working in the country to help the countless people who have lost everything .
Fin dalle prime settimane sono state organizzate spedizioni di aiuti umanitari.
We have already talked about the medical camp set up in the area Tehsil Qubo Saeed Khan Kachi Puli, in Qamber Shahdadkot district , a remote and difficult to reach area. Distribution of essential goods and medical assistance continues in flood-affected areas.
Here are some updates
Area: Mastung – Mastung, an area 42 km from Quetta, in the province of Baluchistan. In this district, which was severely affected by floods, more than 250 people have been treated with medical care. Blankets have also been distributed: Baluchistan is a mountainous area and temperatures drop below zero. The cold is therefore an additional emergency to deal with. There are still people who have no shelter, because their homes have been destroyed by the fury of the water. Area: Nawa Killi, Quetta – Here too, people are still living without any shelter following the floods, or in severely damaged homes. A medical camp has been set up with a team of ten members.
Area: Ghazaband Scouts – Food items were distributed to approximately 22 families.
