On the occasion of Settembre Grottaferratese 2023, the series of events promoted by the Municipal Administration of Grottaferrata to celebrate the month dedicated to the Patron Saint, AMU awaits you to play together with the Living Peace activities! Also this year many ways to learn to live peace.
Vivi la Pace is the event that involves children and young people in games and activities to learn how to experience peace, created with the patronage of the Municipality of Grottaferrata and the support of the Associazione Mondo Unito.
See you on September 30th from 4:00 pm in Piazza Cavour in Grottaferrata . Together we will learn to build a kite, prepare pots to plant seeds of peace, have fun playing team games and color the great canvas of peace.
Make Peace Fly Workshop
The creation of peace kites will allow us to carry messages of peace to the sky among colors, smiles and the joy of being together. The kites can have various decorations that refer to peace. The colors that will be chosen will express everyone’s wishes and will bring a message of Peace, letting imagination and fantasy fly! The proposed activity was conceived in collaboration and synergy with the Mimos para tus Ojos Association from Argentina.
Let’s Sow Peace Workshop
The construction of a culture of peace is born from small daily gestures that are like seeds that we plant and that if watered with love, patience, mercy, will blossom in the hearts of men and in the world will form a beautiful garden with many different plants but each more beautiful than the other. In this workshop you can decorate your own vase, take care of a little plant that you will take home and it will be for you the symbol of your commitment to peace in everyday life.
Peace Mural Lab
We are protagonists of peace and we express it artistically. Everyone will be able to paint freely and contribute to the creation of a mural of peace. The fabric mural will then be donated to a school in Grottaferrata.
Sport 4 peace
Sports4Peace intends to raise awareness and promote in children and young people, during recreational or sporting activities, during a competition or in team work, authentic values of sharing, addressed to society in a constructive way. The lifestyle practiced in games and sports is intended to be an impulse for a similar commitment in everyday life: to commit oneself to a society oriented towards peace and cooperation.
