“La Sazón de Daule”, where Maoly rewrote her story

A journey of personal growth, ecological commitment and entrepreneurial management under the banner of the Sunrise+ project

When Maoly arrived at the Daule Cuenta Conmigo Ecological Club, around 2020, she was a shy and reserved young woman. She participated, she was present, and she had much to offer, but she always protected her space and spoke little. Over time, and especially since the support program began in 2024, something began to change profoundly.

The turning point: the management of “La Sazón de Daule” and… everything else

Today, after many years, seeing and listening to Maoly allows us to recognize how much she has grown. She attends university and,Young Maoly smiles in front of the camera, wearing glasses and a blue t-shirt At the same time, she’s taking a technology training course. Since January 2026, she’s also embarked on a new adventure that’s crucial for her and the community: she’s part of the entrepreneurial business La Sazón de Daule , supported by the Sunrise+ project, where she started as a secretary and has now taken on the role of administrator.

Responsibilities and various commitments—though many—have neither distanced her nor discouraged her. On the contrary, they have given her new reasons to continue learning, participating, and taking on challenges. She herself admits that before, she found it difficult to relate and communicate with people, but today she feels much more confident, capable of expressing herself and taking responsibility before others.

Theory becomes practice

For Maoly, leading the business La Sazón de Daule is a concrete opportunity to put into practice what she learned during her academic career. Corporate training, Ecology Club meetings, and the constant support she received have allowed her to acquire management skills that she now recognizes and applies daily, both in her studies and in running La Sazón de Daule .

Something has changed for the better

Maoly has changed: she’s become a cheerful, dynamic, and supportive young woman, always ready to help, share, and contribute so that others feel good. She herself admits that this journey has taught her to trust herself more, to recognize her own abilities, and to understand that she can also be on the front lines. Her experience in La Sazón de Daule serves as a kind of reminder for the Sunrise+ project: supporting a development journey isn’t just about carrying out one-off activities. It means offering real opportunities for young people to discover their capabilities, strengthen their voices, and find new ways to grow and lead their communities.

And now, straight to the future

Maoly is no longer the same girl who used to remain silent, measuring her space. Today she holds a position of responsibility at the helm of La Sazón de Daule , studies, prepares, mentors others, and continues to be an active member of the Daule Cuenta Conmigo Ecological Club. And, perhaps most preciously, she feels she still has much to learn and much to contribute.
