In Ecuador we continue to support families

In recent days, some of our projects have been remodeled to meet the new needs of the communities in which we operate. The relationship of trust and reciprocity that is created between operators and beneficiaries allows us to intercept changing needs and be able to activate new specific interventions. In Ecuador , for example, where Covid19 is creating great difficulties throughout the country and in particular for the already very weak communities of the Province of Esmeraldas, after listening to the families linked to our “Sunrise” project, we decided to allocate some funds to the purchase and distribution of basic necessities. Respecting safety and prevention measures, our operators have managed to reach around 70 families in the communities we work with: “10 de Agosto”, “Macarà” and “Salima” and have brought concrete and fundamental support in this moment of great uncertainty and in which many activities, even informal ones, are at a standstill and almost no one is able to work.
