Emilienne lives with her family in the hills of Rukanda, Burundi and thanks to the Community Microcredit she has realized her dream. Now she looks to the future. Before Microcredit Emilienne did not have a business, now she has managed to start one and, together with her husband, she can satisfy the needs of her family and continue to dream.
The project “It can be done!” aims to create community microcredit groups whose members can self-support in creating work activities and, in the second phase, create a community microfinance group to support the growth of expanding projects.
For Emilienne and many other people who, like her, would like to grow their businesses, the AMU and CASOBU project was born, which supports the launch of a community Microfinance institution that will be able to offer savings and credit services to people with big dreams but who are still not bankable today.
