What does the project deal with? Since 2016, AMU and AFN have been working on the program “Fare Sistema Oltre l’Accoglienza” (Building a System Beyond Reception) for the inclusion of people in vulnerable conditions through the inclusion of young people and adults, minors and adults, foreigners and Italians in existing socio-work contexts in the territory. Fare sistema oltre l’accoglienza (Building a System Beyond Reception) is based on a national network made up of families, companies, associations and institutions, with the idea that inclusion is an experience of reciprocity in which we can all participate. From this experience, the project “Costruire comunità solidali co i migranti” (Building Solidarity Communities with Migrants) was born, proposed to the volunteers of the Civil Service. After adequate training with AMU, the volunteers will be involved in the organization and coordination of awareness-raising and training activities . The volunteers will assist and support the AMU operators to promote processes of social and work inclusion of migrants through the organization of events to encourage meetings and exchanges between the various actors of the reception network, thematic workshops, design and creation of educational and training materials, organization of Italian language and culture courses for the young protagonists.
