Burundi is one of the poorest countries in the world, but thanks to the community microcredit group Cécile started her first business which now continues to grow.
“I will never know how to express my gratitude. Thanks to the community microcredit I have access to the credit I need to carry out the activities that allow me to earn money. I started by selling and directly mixing banana wine. Little by little, with the savings and credits I obtained, I expanded my business by introducing the sale of beer. Now, thanks also to my work and what I earn, in my family we no longer worry about food or clothes and the children lack nothing. The microcredit group has truly been a strength and a push for me and my family.” The community microcredit group, through the training and support of the project “It can be done!” and the relationships established between the various members, has allowed Cécile to be the true protagonist of her change!
