“How to Become a Global Citizen? The Skills Needed to Develop a Sense of Community” is the title of the path that AMU proposes, together with Città Nuova, and which will be divided into five monthly webinars of 1 hour and a half from 8.30pm to 10.00pm, on the second Wednesday of the month. During the meetings we would like to build together useful tools so that every citizen can be truly aware of their daily choices and actions. We want to accompany the development of a critical sense towards reality, so that everyone feels more motivated to be a responsible protagonist of change. The path will be characterized by interactive meetings with which we will try to deepen strategies, methodologies and contents that allow the acquisition of citizenship skills . We would like to give everyone the opportunity to reflect, share and dialogue. We would like the path to be an opportunity to get involved, become more aware of global interdependencies and understand that each of us can be a protagonist and give our own active contribution as a citizen of the world. To do all this we want to work on sharing that heritage of values that make a human being a person: the relationship, the social bond, participation, freedom, work, responsibility, cooperation, mutual respect, solidarity, fraternity and dialogue. Therefore, the common thread of this series of meetings promoted by AMU will be precisely the “relationship” , understood as a key to understanding the journey towards awareness and the definition of global citizens: relationship with oneself, relationship with others, relationship with nature and Creation, relationship between the peoples of the world. Each meeting will be characterized by a different theme and will be marked by food for thought and proposals for implementation, starting from the concrete example of AMU’s international cooperation projects. The course began on October 12, but you can still register for the next meetings and recover the first one – here more information
