How to multiply and extend the value of our wishes?
For many it is now an established occasion, especially at Christmas: the spirit of this event leads us to share something of us with the most disadvantaged people from every part of the world, not only through our own individual contributions but by involving friends and relatives. How? Here are some ideas.
ORGANISE A CHARITY DINNER. This is what our friends from the province of Frosinone (near Rome) are doing, for example, by preparing a dinner in support of Syrian families displaced by the war. “The pain – they say – does not differentiate between Italian and foreigner, but unites us as brothers of one family.” The Charity Dinner is in Sora on Friday, December 16th 2016 at 20.00.
OFFER YOUR OWN TALENTS. Like Vincenzo Lamagna, an Italian composer who lives and works in London. He wanted to donate his music to help Amatrice and the people affected by the recent earthquakes in central Italy. Vincenzo gives the opportunity to buy his single (Requiem for Amatrice) for 1£. Have you ever thought of simply giving somebody a charitable donation instead of a present? The donation to a project will be in his or her name.
Select a project and give your contribution to a special person! With a single gesture you sent greetings to your friend, and together you will have given your best wishes to other people further away.

Come moltiplicare ed estendere il valore dei nostri auguri?
Per molti è ormai un’abitudine consolidata, soprattutto a Natale: lo spirito di questa ricorrenza ci porta a condividere qualcosa di noi con persone più svantaggiate in ogni parte del mondo, non solo attraverso il proprio singolo contributo ma coinvolgendo amici e parenti. Come? Ecco qualche idea.
ORGANIZZARE UNA CENA DI BENEFICENZA. È quello che stanno facendo, ad esempio, gli amici della provincia di Frosinone, che stanno preparando una cena a favore di famiglie sfollate: quelle siriane a causa della guerra e quelle del Centro Italia a causa del terremoto. “Il dolore – dicono – non fa distinzioni fra italiani e stranieri, ma ci unisce come fratelli di un’unica famiglia.”
